About Us

At Real Cool Photography Tours, we believe great images come from great experiences. We create small, immersive photo adventures that go beyond typical travel. Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or just learning to shoot in manual, our tours are designed to give you incredible access to nature, culture, and light, with the support of fellow creatives.

What sets us apart is our focus on hands-on learning, flexible itineraries, and an environment that’s welcoming, inspiring, and relaxed. We don’t just visit places we spend the time it takes to truly photograph them. That means returning to the same location for the perfect light, building relationships with local guides, and sharing practical insights on gear, composition, and editing.

Our tours are built for photographers, by photographers. We’re here to help you grow your skills, connect with like-minded people, and return home with images you’re proud off, whether that’s wildlife, landscapes, portraits, or travel storytelling.

Real Cool Photography Tours is based in Florida, though we’re often in the field, exploring the jungles, coastlines, and mountains of Costa Rica and beyond.

Founded over 16 years ago, Real Cool Productions Inc. (our formal company name) has produced thousands of creative projects. Many have won awards, and even more have formed the backbone of major marketing campaigns and training initiatives.

Over the past decade, we’ve increasingly focused on training content, driven by the unique blend of creativity and technology we bring to every project. This combination lets us deliver highly effective learning experiences for our clients and partners.

Our photography tours are a new and exciting evolution, a way for us to share our love of visual storytelling and the unforgettable places we’ve been privileged to photograph. Having shot across the globe, from Antarctica to the Far East, we’ve come to realize just how many fellow photographers, beginners and experts alike, share the same desire to explore and capture the world’s most extraordinary locations.
